309 Visa - First Entry Date (less than 24 hours in Aus)

Hi everyone,

So, I have been granted my 309 visa last month and I will have to make my first entry by June. Currently my hubby is still living in my country (Indonesia) and finishing his last year of study here. We have no plans to visit Australia very soon (in fact we just came back from Aus in January). Our initial plan to move out is around September this year and I think extension of First Entry Date is not possible nor feasible.
My question is:
1. Is it totally alright if say.. I depart from my country on Monday evening, arrive in Australia Tuesday morning, clear customs, spend time at the airport for my next flight back to my country by Tuesday afternoon/evening? So less than 24 hours in Australia.
2. Am I gonna be questioned by the immigration officers when I depart from Australia to my home country due to my very short trip?

I think this short trip trick is the best and cheapest option (considering going to the shortest distance city from my country such as Perth or Darwin) eventhough it looks horribly draining.

That would be fine, I would get out of airport in Darwin. The airport is rubbish but a 4 min walk to either Airport resort or Airport Inn is a nice spot to hang out the wait - room prices can be ok too @$130 AUD.

No problem at all my partner made her entry on flight from Hong Kong to Cairns, got off at Cairns, plane then went to Brisbane and back to Cairns she then caught same plane back to Hong Kong, I think her total time in Country was about 7 hours. We are now living in Australia and she had no problems coming back. Also no problems with Immigration if asked just tell them you are here to validate your visa.
