BVA and entitlements

Have a friend on a BVA pending the de facto visa. His partner (the sponsor) is now pregnant. He is currently doing agency work and is wondering what entittlements he has to paid parental leave when the baby is born. Currently he is not paid for any holidays etc. Any advice welcome
