Smile Plz help us. Can we apply for Partner VISA?

Hi, everyone, I am Kalley. My bf come from Australia so in order to stay together I will apply for WHV to live with him and then we apply for Partner VISA after WHV expired. I did some research and I saw some people said if apply for partner visa need my bf shows prove of work or salary bills, but he is a undergraduate student and doesn't have a job, is that mean we can't apply for Partner VISA? Thanks for helping us

Immigration may look to see how you can support each other financially.
Some people do get visas even when not working.
I do not think it is a cut and dry no.

Thanks a lot for answering So if my bf supported by his parents and I work then we support each other financially, it will be ok right?

Do you realise the partner visa is about $6,865 currently? Plus there will be additional costs, so I hope you've looked into that?
