Permanent residency and commitment to employer.

Hi,
Two months ago I received my PR after working for 1 year and 4 months under a 457 Visa. My employer helped me out by issuing a Employer nominated visa for the PR.

My question is this. Now that I got my PR what is my commitment to my employer? Due to recent changes in the company he wants to move me from an employee status to a contractor status which im not very comfortable with.
Is there a period of time that I most continue to work for him? Are there any penalties if I leave my employment? Or can my PR be revoked because of that.

Thanks in advance for your help,
O.Z
