PMV sponsor

Hi guys,

I'm new here and I basically signed up just to ask a question that I cannot find information on anywhere online.

After the next financial year I would like to sponsor my fiancÚ to move here. I only earn 40k a year as I am also a uni student but that's more than enough for me to support both of us due to my living situation I have very few expenses and have also saved a tidy little nest egg in preparation.

I'm just wondering if that will be enough for them to consider me an adequate sponsor or if I should try and find extra work (which will be very difficult considering I am studying and working 7 hours a day. I have very little free time at the moment).

Is there a minimum wage that they will require I meet? I just want to be prepared when the time comes.

Thank you

There is no minimum amount required to earn to sponsor a partner for a PMV.

Oh really? Do they just assess it on a case by case basis? All I could find was that a sponsor needs to provide a reasonable standard of living.
