ACS Query

Hi All,

This is my first post.

I have
-Completed a 4 yr Bachelors in Engineering-(Electronics & Telecommunication) in 2006

-Worked as Asst systems Engineer(IT) from Sep 2006- Aug 2009.

-Studied Masters in Management Studies till 2011.

-Worked as Sr Associate Consultant (IT), from June 2011- Till date.including (8+8 months in Australia)

I am planning to apply for Analyst Programmer(261311) role.

For my ACS, do i need to declare my Masters?
And if Yes, will my experience be counted from 2011 or from 2006.

Since my bachelors isn't in IT how much of deduction in experience should i expect?

Thanks in advance,
J.

There is a document available on the ACS website that has a table of qualifications and work experience requirements for positive skills assessment. How about looking for that and finding out for yourself.

Hi Jeremy,

I have already gone through the Summary-of Criteria Document, if that is what you meant.

My query is reg since my masters isn't closely related to my role, do i need to submit my masters' transcripts during assessment?

It is a good idea if you do.

Since your Bachelor is not in IT, you must have minimum 6 years experience.

ACS Query

I have done Computer Science Engineer ( B Tech - 4 Years) and working with IT industry for last 3 years as a Testing Analyst. .Will really appreciate if you could assist us for the below Query -
For the purpose of Skill Assessment , I needs to file my application to ACS ( Australian Computer Society) . I need to check about the requirement of 3 Project reports ie whether I need to write or not for Skill Assessment . I am confused as there is plethora of information available and have got different responses about the Project Reports .
I have done a full 4 Year B Tech Degree from an approved AICTE university . Could you please let us know the exact requirement of Project Reports Who are needed to provide , are there any exemptions to it and other related information on the same.
I Fall in ITC major or minor or shall i file RLP.

Please reply me, i have read the documents also but not able to distinguish who is included in ITC major and minor
