PIC HELP ! PIC 4020 - Issue with Employment Reference

Hi All
Your advice and guidance are highly appreciated.

Today I received a letter from DIBP on PIC 4020. One of my employment with ABC Company reference has an unfavorable outcome.

Here's the comment from them:

"HR confirmed that you were employed with the company, however they also advised that the work reference provided by yourself is not the same original work reference that they issued
to you. HR forwarded a copy of the original work reference they issued to you. It has been noted that nearly the entire contents of the work reference provided by yourself is different to the original, including the introduction; the opening paragraph; the duties listed and the signature of the referee and that only the letterhead and reference number appear the same as the original."

I have to say that, it is my mistake to falsify the document. Knowing then that, my employer (ABC Company) will not object on the full elaboration of my duties, I took the decision my on hand. I had done it based on my hasty decision for EOI submission , as I was going to lose my job in Q4'15 due to low oil price climate and was hanging on to my 457 without a sponsorship.

I really wanted for my family with 2 young children stay here to have a good education. Back home, political was unstable and seems no future for my children.

I had also reached out to ABC Company today, and informed the Ops Manager about my wrong doing, apologized. She understand my stand and is willing to support my claim on my duties as long as it does not jeopardize the company position.

May I know what would be your advice to proceed as I need to respond to DIBP before 18 Apr.

It is best to consult a reputable migration agent for solution.

From what has been posted there is no solution.

If the application is withdrawn then technically 4020 is not breached, but the applicant could expect to have a character issue in any further application.

I'd suggest you consult with a migration agent in order to handle this as best as possible. I think you need to withdraw your application in order to avoid being barred from applying for another visa, but this will be likely noted in your records and any future application will be closely scrutinized.

Thanks all for your reply so far, much appreciated and I can only blame on myself on the mess I had created.

Do you know any RMA contact which is experience in handling this type of matter ? I really do not want to get blacklisted in my future application - closely scrutinize is fine but at least there is an opportunity given for a re-application.

Cheers

You have put yourself in a very tough situation. It is best, withdrew the current application and in future, plan the right strategy.
