457 on which passport?

Hi guys. Got a job offer in SA Eyre peninsula. I'm a UK resident currently holding a Hungarian passport. I'm eligible for British passport. Should I apply for British passport and get the visa for that or can I do it on a Hungarian ? Basically I would like to know I the process would be faster if I aply as a British passport holder or no?

Thank you

It will not make any difference, both countries are ranked as low risk by the department and have same processing times.

People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.

We are told to remember the idea, not the man. Because a man can fail. He can be killed and forgotten. But four hundred years later an idea can still change the world.

Thank you for your answer. Would the process be the same ie IELTS police check and medical?
And would it take the same amount of time?

Thank you for your help.
