Sponsorship requirements - payslips, tax assessments?

I keep seeing that people included their payslips or tax assessments in their applications as "sponsor eligibility". I didn't see these as a requirement in the document checklist. Where can I find more information on this?

We are just about to apply for my husband's onshore partner visa in a few weeks. I am still a student and we live with my parents and probably will continue to live here for a year. I work casually. It is my understanding that it's no longer a requirement for the sponsor to have sufficient finances to support the applicant because in most cases they can work on a bridging visa. (I could support him if he needed it, though - which he doesn't, but I think immigration would see it differently.)

You don't need it. I am unsure what some people include payslips, resumes etc.

I have never included payslips etc and haven't had an issue.

The only thing I would include would be the page from your tax return where you list the spouse to show commitment.
