Tourist Visa

Good day!

As I understand, Tourist Visa is issued for 3 months and can be extended to 1 year. How likely is the extension?

Is the extension dependent on age, medical condition, etc?

Thanks!

Australian visas cannot be extended.

A new visa application is required. Whether one would be granted, depends on various factors, including the conditions imposed on the existing visa.

Tourist visas can normally be issued for 3, 6 or 12 months.
