Job code selection for skill assessment

Hello everyone,

Need some guidance for getting my skill assessment done through ICS. I have a total of 9 years or work experience in India. The job roles I have performed fall under the following job codes
261111 ICT BUSINESS ANALYST
223211 ICT TRAINER
263212 ICT SUPPORT ENGINEER

I have the following question
When applying for a skill assessment, do I just select the code for the job that I am currently doing? Will all my 9 years of work experience be considered under this latest job code?. Or will they only give me credit for the amount of time I have spent in the latest job code?.

You need to choose the occupation that best matches your qualifications and experience in order to a) get a positive skills assessment, and b) allow you to claim the maximum amount of points possible.

Thanks Maggie.

Any individual would have held multiple positions performed a variety of roles. I myself have been performing multiple roles which I have mentioned earlier. My question really was, do I go ahead & choose the code which best matches my current job?. Is that how this is to be done?. Will ACS give me credit for the entire working period or will they only look at the time frame where I have performed the role which I have nominated & only give me credit for that?.
