Eligibility Criteria for Skilled Independent Subclass 189

I have a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and currently working as an IT professional for the past 3 and a half years. I would like to know if I am eligible to apply for the "Skilled Independent Subclass 189". Or is there any criteria stating that I need to have the same stream in my bachelors too. Also please find a brief of my profile below for points assessment.

Age- 25(30 points)
English Language Ability - Proficient(10 points)
Highest Qualification - Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (Do I get 15 points for this?)
Overseas Work Experience- 3 Years as IT professional(Do I get 5 points for this?)

Please let me know if I would be considered eligible even though I get through the points criteria as I have bachelors in different discipline and working on another.

Thanks In Advance!

Your might well have an issue with this.

If your degree (in any discipline) is assessed as comparable to an Australian degree, it would attract 15 points.

I suggest that you consult a registered migration agent for advice about developing a visa strategy.
