I just read on this site about citizen by descent. His step father is an Australian citizen who married my fiancée mother whilst she was pregnant with him. Does it sound like he is able to possibly be granted citizenship by descent?
From what you have posted, citizenship by descent seems possible.

May I suggest that you consult a registered migration agent for a professional assessment?

You may be eligible to apply to become an Australian citizen by descent if:

you were born outside Australia and one of your parents was an Australian citizen at the time of your birth.

The word “parent” as it appears in section 16(2) of the Act is not limited to a ‘biological parent’.
