Notice of intention to marry

Thread title should read Notice of intention to woops...... I'm a NOIM (fixed)

Is this a firm requiement when lodging a Prospective marriage visa? I just dont think its right that I need to chose a celebrant without the mutual help of my fiance.

Yes it is a firm requirement..but from what I understand, just because you have had a celebrant fill in the paperwork, this doesnt mean that they have to marry you.
