Student bringing my partner

I am a student, just arrived this weekend. I was sponsored by my aunt for school. I wanted to bring my de facto partner here. I am wondering if I have to resubmit my proof of funds amounting to $18K or my partner just needs to provide his own proof of funds amounting to $6K?

Please help me know more about the requirements needed for me to bring him over to Oz! Thanks much!

Did you declare that you had a defacto partner on your visa application?
