Withdrawal of visa application

Hi All,

My wife was recently granted her partner visa and now we need to withdraw her application for a sponsored visitor visa. We sent an email to the processing centre, uploaded a withdrawal letter to the application and submitted the change of circumstances form through the immiaccount.

I am sure this should be enough to ensure that the application is withdrawn, but we submitted all this documentation almost two weeks ago and there has still been no change in the application status on the immiaccount.

Should we expect to get a confirmation back from the department to confirm the withdrawal, or can we just forget about it now?
