"Family unit included in this application" = ???

I'm filling out my 47sp form for 820 partner visa application.

For Q72 and Q73, it stated "Please include details for all members of your family unit included in your visa application."

So my question is what is "family unit included in your visa application"??

Both parents and siblings are not migrating with me in my 820 partner visa application, so I should be considered as migrating on my own.

So would "family unit included in your visa application" refer to my 2 parents & siblings (whom I took family vacations with, and obviously live with in home country), or is it just myself in the family unit (for purposes of migration)??

It should be only people migrating with you in the application IMHO, so no you don't include them.

Are you sure you are using the latest version of the form? Q72 and Q73 on the recent form are about countries that you have visited! Make certain that you are using the current form as old ones are not accepted!

Hi kttykat, thanks for your reply!

I'm pretty sure I have the most up-to-date forms.. Down on the footer of the forms said "Design date 11/12", while previously when I first looked up 820 visa, I printed the forms out with "Design date 07/12"..

And if you were wondering, yeah I had the good fortune of travelling in the past 10 years mostly as family vacations, that's why the original question of "Do I include my whole family even though they are not migrating with me"

OK I see what you are asking now. I would read that as "included in your application" so the answer is still no. Don't include them unless they plan to migrate with you.

Just another question regarding the topic. Do we have to mention the applicant's name in the box as well? since its presumed applicant is implicitly in the travel details. (it is ABOUT the applicant)??
