Unhappy Urgent!!! 3 years ban?

Hi
I recently have finished my Bachelor and accidentally overstay my bridging visa in relation to substantive visa for 12 days. I went to CSMS and they grant me a bridging visa E to depart me back to the country where I'm from.
So my question is, I still want to study further to Master. Will I have to wait for 3 years to apply??????
I left Australia on bridging visa E. Won't i be able to return?
Thanks

If they issue a ban, you will have to wait 3 years, if you haven't heard in the next month or two, then I would assume they haven't issued one

Dose anyone know how to check if you have a ban ? my fiance was told he would get one but we haven't officially been told he has one. I heard that the only way to find out is to apply for a visa and see if it get rejected , is there another way ?

Oh your fiance overstayed more than 28 days ? I don't know how to check that's why i'm so scared of it. I ask immigration but even them, they're not sure about it

That's horrible. I wish you the best to not to receive a ban. Good luck!

You can find out if you are subject to an exclusion period by checking the public interest and other criteria that apply to the visa you want to apply for. You can find that information in schedule 2 of the migration regulations.
