Question Peculiar problem - separated from wife

Hi,

I have a peculiar problem. I am from India. I want to migrate to Australia and would be trying for a PR. My problem is that I am separated from my wife (though no legal separation or divorce). We have not been in touch for the past 4 years and there has not been any legal action on this front. My daughter stays with my wife. My wife's name comes on my passport.

My wife and daughter are not my dependents anymore as we have not been in touch for 4 years now.

Please advise, if this will be an issue in getting PR, as I cannot expect any help from my wife.

Any good advice will be really helpful.
