Migration agent with online application?

Just curious, I've posted about my situation a few times and was just wondering if it is really necessary to use a migration and also how much it typically costs in America. I've been told online applications are the best route but I am not very good with computers. Maybe someone who has done the application themselves online could give me an idea of how the application is done online and the whole process from the USA?
Thanks guys!

There is no legal requirement to use a migration agent.

The costs associated with a visa application depend on the type of application.

Most applications, but not all, are best applied for online and it does not matter where the applicant resides.

Yeah I know it's not legally required, I am just considering using one if its not too expensive, I'll be applying for a PMV. I'm just not great with computers and I don't want to mess anything up, this visa costs too much money to make any mistakes on haha
