Hi everyone! I'm just a few weeks away from lodging my application for a Defacto Partner visa and I just wanted to get some feedback on the evidence I've collected and what I may be missing - here goes!

- Stat Dec (me)
- Stat Dec (partner)
- Form 47SP Application
- Form 40SP Sponsorship Application
- Certified copies of Passports/Birth Certificates (both of us)

FINANCIAL
- Receipt showing when we opened joint bank statement
- Joint bank statements w/ explanation of charges
- Letter showing that partner was added as an authorized user to my credit card

SOCIAL
- 4 statements from friends (3 AU citizens, 1 US)
- Copies of concert/sports/movie tickets
- Copies of joint Christmas cards, wedding/party invitations etc.
- Copies of birthday cards I received from partner's friends/family
- Photos
- Receipts for travel to US in August

HOUSEHOLD
- Joint statement from Partner and I explaining that we are living with partner's family to save money before we get an apartment
- Statement from partner's mom (who we live with)
- Letter from Virgin mobile stating that we share an account and copies of receipts from paying for phone credits
- Various copies showing proof of address
- Copies of grocery/household receipts

COMMITMENT
- Documents showing that we are each other's Super beneficiaries
- Adoption certificate/vaccination papers for our cat
- Screenshot showing we are in a relationship publicly on Facebook
- AT&T bills showing phone/message records when we were away from each other
- Birthday, Valentine's day cards to/from each other
- Registered Relationship certificate
- Statements from my family in the US

hello!
This is looking good, but I am not a migrant agent! :)

I am just wondering about " joint statement". Are you writing together? What I know is statement need to write individually. So your case officer can read your relationship from your point of view and your partners'. :)

Thanks guys! I'm just trying to cover all my bases, especially with an almost $7,000 investment at stake!

My plan was to have separate statements for the history of the relationship/future plans main statement but then separate statements (I guess from each of us would be best) focusing on the household and financial aspects!
