Now getting ready for 820

Hi all, my fiance from Vietnam is getting ready to apply for 820 visa (with my help) next week after she got granted with PMV last year.
We got married and now she have 2 months left in PMV before it expires.
I've read many post in this forum regarding applying for 820 visa but I have a few questions.

Does she need to do medical check up and have police clearance report since she came here 7 months ago?

Does she need to provide many documents regarding her family backgrounds, their id, her id as she did for PMV?

Will she get Medicare while she will have a Bridges Visa A? (hope she get it)

We still have not yet received a registered marriage certificate from Australia Registry Office but is a copy of "Official Certificate of Marriage" and "Certificate of Marriage" from our priest are good enough to upload them while applying for 820?

Thanks for your time

Medical is not required unless asked for. AFP is only required if they have spent 12 months or more in Australia combined (some people come on a tourist visa while waiting for their PMV).

You need to include family names on the application form. ID is only for those included in the application and form 888 writers.

Yes she can apply for Medicare as soon as she receives the BVA grant.

Technically you need the official marriage certificate from BDM but you may get lucky and get approved without an official marriage certificate.

They may have different procedures depending on what state you live in but I rang up the Victorian Office of Births, Deaths and Marriages to get a better idea of when we could expect our official marriage certificate (as time was running short to submit our 820 from PMV) and spoke to someone very kind who said, "well, I see you really need the certificate for the visa so I'll process it today and you can come in and pick it up on Monday". No extra charge. Previously I had been told that we would have to pay $100 to get it processed within a week but instead we were lucky to come across someone helpful.

So you can always try your luck and give BDM a ring.
