My DREAM to go to Oz

Hi everyone,

My name is Bakhtee. I'm an 18 year old Uzbek national with a dream of going to Australia on a working holiday.

I intend to spend 3.5-4 months in Australia this year. I am fluent in three languages: English (obviously - IELTS 6), Russian (native), and Uzbek (also native). I've gathered that I could easily teach Russian and Uzbek in Australia, so that is one field of employment I am keen on.

But the thing is that I have no idea as to how I should go about realising this dream. What can I do?

Thanks in advance,

Bakhtee,

Citizens of Uzbekistan are not eligible for a working holiday visa. So you can either come on a holiday and not work (since working would be illegal and likely to get you deported and banned for at least 3 years) or apply for a work visa.

Unfortunately at the age of 18, you are unlikely to meet the criteria of a work visa. If you want to make this a longer-term goal, it may be worthwhile to speak with a migration agent to see what may be your best option to work towards.
