Has your application gone to Berlin immigration

Has anyone had there visa passing through the immigration department in berlin? I submitted (through an agency in Australia) my application 1 year ago, they are still asking for paper work especially of my son who is not travelling with me and who is 17 yrs. I understand because he is under 18 they need documentation incl all health checks ect, but they seem to be taking far too long with this applciation, has any one else had problems with Berlin. I am currently living in Malta and as we dont have an australian embassy we had to submitt the application through the berlin office. The C/O seems to be either playing for time or he is very meticulous in paperwork. I had sent files and files of documentation and still they are asking for repeat papers. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Louise

hi melandabdul
yes i was married before my partner has never married.we met 3 years ago and after visiting Australia 2010 4 times and being refused the visa ( because i re-entered before they made there decision) we decided to return back to Malta in June 2010. Kevin left his house and returned back with me with a 40ft container to Malta. We live together and have proved we are living as a defacto couple. I applied for a marriage visa, infact we have our wedding planned for March 2013 in Perth. I was informed that the time frame has now increased from 7-9 moths to 14 months due to a huge back log of work, so frustrating.
