Question PMV then what?

OK, so me and my fiance are applying for a PMV, that would allow me to fly to Australia,marry my fiance,then what visa is next? and what evidence should we be collecting NOW while she is in the USA with me for that next visa we will need to apply for?

Then you apply for the 820 partner visa and live happily ever after

As far as the evidence, you have already supplied much of what you need if they grant the 300. Then you are collecting evidence that you are indeed married and living together, same sort of stuff you got for the 300 and then all the normal married type evidence after the marriage. You would collect evidence from the four areas.

Evidence of your relationship
There are 4 broad categories of evidence that you need to provide:
financial aspects;
the nature of the household;
social context of the relationship; and
the nature of your commitment to each other

Kttykat, is there anything we should do now that she is here with me? maybe save our grocerie reciepts,movie tickets,put her on my will/bank account? what steps would be good to do now to get "ahead" of the next visa? does moving to Australia and marrying her waive the 12 month living together requirment?

Yes, once married there is no 12 month living together requirement. That is more for de facto couples. You have the right to apply as soon as you are married for the 820 partner visa.

Collect it all, as far as evidence is concerned. Keep the envelopes from any family who send things like Christmas cards etc and make sure they are addressing it to your wife as a married couple.

Keep a camera with you at all times for any joint social events and get pictures with you and your partner having fun together with friends etc, nothing too intimate though and definitely no shots of you drunk together etc.

No, I haven't found a tax service yet and yes you still need to file tax here in the USA otherwise you can actually have trouble returning to the USA. Australia and the USA have a reciprocal tax agreement so you should only have to pay Australian tax when there, you won't be double taxed.
