Red face [Job Experience Related]Please suggest me

Hi,
First of all i would like to pay my gratitude to all you guys who are managing this forum bcoz i am thinking to apply for skilled immigration to Australia but i am sort of perplexed about my job experience. Though everything is mentioned on the ACS website and there are many other pdf documents highlighting every detail but still i think i am confusing the part-time experience FAQ on ACS website.

Let me paste that FAQ from ACS website, than i ll ask my question.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
23. How do you assess Part-Time Experience?

Part-time experience will be included on a pro-rata basis if the applicant can demonstrate that they have been employed for a minimum of 20 hours/week.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Just to share, i have a full-time ICT experience (MODL Category with ASCO 2231-79) of 3.7 years and 1 year of part-time experience in the same category, so how would ACS calcualte my total experience?Does my 3.7 yr full-time experience + 1 yr part-time experience fullfill the ACS 4 years experience requirement criteria?

I am very confused whether i should apply for assesment or should i wait till i complete my 4 yrs full-time experience. Any advice will be appreciated.

I am mailing with the hope that i will get some response from you guys.
Thanking in advance.

Mike is more conversant with computer industry employment and possibly ACS requirements than me but pro-rata in general terms means they work out what equivalent fulltime employment would be allowed via simple mathematics, eg.

If your part-time experince was at 25 hrs a week for the year, then if they are using a nominal 40 hour week as a base, you would be allowed 25/40 of a year, or .625 to be added to your fulltime experience.

Of course that is simplified and ACS I imagine would be looking at your type of experience to see that it was eligible.

The best thing to do in these situations, be it with ACS or anything to do with other Immi regulations as to detailed interpretation is to contact the organisation with the query for whatever help we may be able to give, it is ultimately the organisation that makes the decision you should get that detailed advice from.

@Wanderer,
Thanks alot for such a prompt response. i wasn't expecting such a quick reply. Thanks again.

Well, i did shoot an email on this issue to ACS but i didn't get any reply for them so i thought it would be better to find some good forum like this one and post my query over there and get response from people who could have been in a such a situation.

So thanks again and i would appreciate some reply from Mike as well.
