I think your best approach is to adopt a little more patience and while you're waiting for the immigration CO to contact you in relation to further information, why not have a thorough re-check of the checklist you'll find in the "applying for this visa section".

That and a good read of the eligibility section, the relevant booklet and all links will give you a greater insight into the process and help you identify what further information may be required.

I do not understand your poll, nor what you expect to achieve from it.

My advice would be to follow the instructions by immigration. Immigration is just a bureaucracy like anywhere else and it takes them time to go through your application.

One important bit of information you've not made mention of water man is your qualifications assessment by the Institute of Engineers, Australia - a necesity for your application to be processed.

Have a good read of eligibility, "applying for visa" sections , the application and the immi booklet #6; yes immi need to do checks of information accuracy, a state nomination just another document.

Since you are a little persistent with this question, I would say you need to expect that there is a 100% chance that your employment history will be verified using whatever methods are available to immigration.

If your information is 100% accurate, you should not have anything to worry about. :)

Water man, I am also a civil engineer. How was your assessment? What did they test you on? I would appreciate any help and feedback you can give. Thank you!
