Hello!

I am a fresher and want to apply for Australian immigration. I do not want go for an immigration agent as they charge more than the real amount required for the process. However, I have very less knowledge of how and from where to start. My details:
1- IELTS Total band 7.5 each component got 7.5 besides Listening 6.5.
2- Masters degree in Communication Sciences
3- Work experience 6 years
4- Skill under CSOL
5- No state is offering my skill
6- points 55 excluding IELTS
7- Can I do the process myself or do I need an agent?
Please help in this regard.

Not sure what you mean by that ? You want professional advice, but don't want to pay for it or you want free advice..? If you don't know how to go about it, using a professional is probably a good idea.

From what you posted, it seems possible that you might not have reasonable prospects of qualifying for skilled migration. May I suggest that you bite the bullet and consult a registered migration agent for an assessment of your prospects?

If your occupation is only on the CSOL and no states are sponsoring it, what visa are you considering? A hint, an occupation on the CSOL requires business or STATE sponsorship

I have checked the state skill list it does not have exact occupation that I have experience in but close to it. I have contacted a consultant and he offered me pre-assessment. Let's see what comes up for me.

There are no registered agents with Gov of Australia. I have checked on immi.gov.au for registered agents in my country and it shows nothing. May be I'm not searching it properly, if you can guide on how to find one, I will be grateful
