Arrow Australian study requirements for Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485)

I have a question about the Australian study requirement that is required to obtain subclass 485 visa.

Here is my educational background:
  • Year 1 - Full Time - studying in the UK
  • Year 2 - Full Time - went to Australia for an exchange program
  • Year 3 (final year) - Full Time - finished my degree with the same Australian university

My question is, does my Year 2 exchange year in Australia count towards the Australian study requirement criteria? In the end I obtained a Bachelor's degree but I'm not sure if I meet the two-year Australian study requirement.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Thank you. I did, but it does not cover very specific cases such as mine. If my whole degree wasn't completed in Australia but I was awarded the end degree by an Australian university, does it still count? And between Year 2 and Year 3, I had a gap year where I left the country and then continue my studies here in Oz after that.

If it's in doubt, you should probably arrange a consultation with a registered migration agent so they can review in detail your situation. This doesn't sound like something that can simply be answered through a forum.

There are several very good migration agents who post regularly on this forum - look for usernames WRussell (posted above), Jeremy Hooper, CCMS and Mark Northam.
