Recognised universities for migration to Australia

Hi
I am from Egypt and I want to study teaching to migrate to Australia.

Can someone please tell me what universities are recognised in Australia and what degree I should study?

Thanks
Malak

This might help:

A Bachelor degree or Licence awarded by a listed institution and normally requiring four or more years of full-time study is assessed as comparable to the educational level of an Australian Bachelor degree.
A Diploma of Higher Studies (also known as a Diploma of Graduate studies in (field) or a Diploma in (field) or a postgraduate education diploma, such as the Special Diploma in Education, awarded by a listed institution requiring one or two years of full-time postgraduate study is assessed as comparable to the educational level of an Australian Graduate Diploma.
If the Diploma of Higher Studies was undertaken following a Bachelor degree assessed as comparable to the level of an AQF Advanced Diploma the two qualifications are also assessed together as comparable to the level of an Australian Bachelor degree.
A Master Degree awarded by a listed institution is assessed as comparable to the educational level of an Australian Master Degree.
Other qualifications are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

School teachers may gain more specialised preparation in a particular field by completing a postgraduate Diploma. The Special Diploma in Education (Dibloum el-khaasa f'il-tarbiya), for example, offers training for the teaching of foreign languages, while the Professional Diploma in Education (Dibloum el-mihaniya f'il-tarbiya) offers specialisations in such areas as school administration, special education, education planning and the economics of education, guidance, school psychology, and curriculum planning and development. These professional diplomas may either stand alone or form the coursework component of a Master degree.
************************************************** ******************************
If a qualification is assessed as comparable to an Australian degree, but lacks (for example) sufficient practicum (supervised teaching) it will not be accepted for the mandatory teaching pre-migration skills assessment. It is risky to undertake a course of study to qualify for an occupation that might or might not be listed for skilled migration to Australia, years in the future.

Thank you Westly.

I was planning to study teaching anyway but thought if it was recognized in Australia that would help.

Would you be able to tell me what the listed institutions in Cairo?

I also already hold a bachelor degree in history. So would I still qualify if I did a masters in education?

Thank you
