Dependent on 189 application

Hi all,

I would like to add my twin sister ( she and me are twins) to my 189 visa application with 60pts.

She is currently living with me in Australia, she is on a student visa. My parents mainly pay for her school fee and I pay rent, food and bills for her.

If I want to include her on my application what documents I should submit to prove that substantially reliant on my financial support ?

And what if CO doesnt consider her as my dependent and would this lead to my visa not being granted? What about the time processing?

Please help me with this.

Thank you.

If DIBP don't accept that she's your dependent, they will advise you and you will be given the opportunity to remove her from your visa. It would only negatively impact the outcome of your visa if she failed the medical check.

You need to prove she's more dependent on you than on anyone else. With your parents paying the school fees, that may be difficult since I assume those are more costly than letting her live with you. It may be useful to have a consultation with a migration agent to get some guidance.
