In my experience, even if you make a department of such great size aware of a mistake on a form, there is so many levels of internal bureacracy for them to cross that it never happens.
I think it's their error, as 820 is definitely an onshore application, and I guess the only thing you could do is ignore it.
You could complain in the hope that someone, somewhere picks it up and does something about it, but I wouldn't hold my breath!
But of course my first reflex is - what if they just see "Offshore" on the first thing in my application and deem it invalid? Makes *our* applications look sloppy with the wrong looking form at the front, while we have all put so much work into it. Not fair!
Yes, that is a careless mistake on the check list for the onshore application, I noticed it the other day, a problem with people using cut and paste in immigration. The 820 is definitely the onshore application, and the check list seems correct for the onshore requirements.
