Form 80 clearance can take a year or more! It has to go through ASIO.

Welcome to the forum firstly, As Kittykat has said this could take upto months, the problem is unfortunately when your from a high risk country they do tend to scrutinize every detail of your background, and especially coming from an Arab country, in fact the new revised form 80 ask,s if your from Arab descendants. I am not 100% sure but you may find that even your family members background may be looked into.

good luck
Louiseb

Ninos998, from what I have heard about their process you will be checked for UK and for Iraq. So, except longer wait, unfortunately.
