Enough Evidence for 820 Visa

Hi All, I am gathering all our evidence but feel like there isn't much...

Joint Lease
Joint Bank Account
Car Insurance with both our names
2 Christmas Cards to both of us
Photos of us with friends and his family
Photos of us on holiday
Flight boarding cards, itineraries hotel receipts
screen shot of emails
screen shot of some viber messages from the beginning our our relationship
relationship rego

we didn't use skype only viber so although we spoke loads on the phone I can't prove it with any records. My viber call log only goes back to September 2012..

Any more ideas of evidence we can collect???

All suggestions welcome

One very effective piece of relationship evidence I've found is if each party draws up a will naming the other as beneficiary.

Also, if you feel you're weak on relationship evidence, you can often compensate for that by including additional statements from friends, family, acquaintances, etc.

Best,

Mark Northam

Joint lease an insurance is a good thing. From what date do you have these things? As you say the call log only goes back to September 2012, just to be sure.

We've only got joint lease and insurance from December 2012. The problem is I still have a flat and a job in the UK as I can;'t work here etc. Me and my partner have literally split our time between AUS and the UK since we've been together (August 2012) My current tourist visa runs out at the beginning of April so I am not lodging our application until mid march to give us more time together. I know we haven't been together long but i can't give everything up in the UK until I know I can stay here..... (My partner has a UK passport as well as an AUS passport). once I lodge application we would of been together for 8 months and we have registered our relationship so hopefully that will be ok. Just need ideas on extra evidence we can get...
Thanks again for listening.

Hi Mark,

This may seem like a silly question (we just want our application sent off as accurately as possible), but does any of the evidence need to be certified? I am talking copies of wedding invitations, bank statements etc. We are applying for an offshore defacto visa.

Any evidence of money transfers? Air ticket stubs, airline booking confirmations are very handy as well. I didn't even have anything joint with my partner! (Except for a joint account with only AU$70 lol).

Stat dec (Form 888) are an important part of your application. Get at least 4 stat decs, with a minimum of 2 authors who are Aussies/PRs. I submitted 4 stat decs. One was written by mother in law,one written by sister in law, one written by my friend who works in the police force commercial affairs dept, and last one written by my bestie - a financial planner.
