Quit or Loose Job While ENS 186 Processing

Hi there,

This forum has been very helpful and I try to make sure to do research before posting but I could not find the correct answer to this one.

I will apply for my PR through ENS. It is a non-DRC application through an agent. Now I am in a sales environment.

What if option 1: I loose my job throughout the process? What if option 2: I quit my job before having received my PR?

Is there any stage throughout the 186 ENS process where I am sure that even after losing my job it will not affect my goal of getting my residency?

I appreciate your guys' time once more!

Kind regards!

Hi Tusho -

If you leave your job (or are fired, laid off, etc from your job) at any point before the subclass 186 visa is granted, it would invalidate the nomination part of the ENS and the visa would not be granted.

Hope this helps -
