Visa 100/309

Hi all could someone please help me we applied for our via 100/309 on the 8th April medicals and police check done i rang them up at London and thay said that thay are waiting for my hubby Australia police check but I read that if he hasn't spent more then 12month over there in the last 10years which he hasn't he dosent need one but my case officer email and said ready for English police check both of us and medicals we have two children so I don't know whether to get one done just in case but then part of me think of the case officer hasn't ask for one I should not worry and hope it just hasn't been up dated.

I would give you an answer, if I could actually understand your question. Could you clarify what you want to know exactly ?

I take it he is the visa applicant ?

If they have requested an Australia police certificate, it is usually easier to just provide one instead of arguing with the case officer and causing unnecessary delays.The NPC can be done online, costs $ 42.00 and is normally issued within days.

The standard requirement is for 12 months spent cumulatively, not necessarily consecutively, in the one country during the past 10 years, but there may be other reasons why a police certificate is required.
