Skill assessment engineers australia as an Automation engineer

Hello everybody!

I m new here, but maybe you can answer my questions.

I have a Mechatronical bachelor degree in Hungary (3,5 year) (Engineering Professional nec (233999) ).
My specialization is "laser technologies".
I m currently work as an Automation (PLC) engineer (233513: Production or Plant Engineer) since around a year.

Possible to assess me as an Production engineer or i need to finish any kind of Msc?

Best Regards:

Rotszakall

Have a look at the roles and Responsibilities on EA website and compare with your current roles, then it will be easy for you to choose the right category

Hi There!

I am an engineer with 4 year working experience. I recently went back to school in Australia in a non-engineering field for 10 months and will be in school for over 3 years. I want to apply for Australian Immigration under subclass 189. I would like to know being 10 months in non-engineering school may decrease my qualification when I send my documents for Engineer Australia to assess? And also I obtained my Masters degree about 10 years ago outside Australia, do you think I will get its 5 points?

Thank you!
Nelson
