ACS Assessement

I am a chartered accountant from India and have 10 years of work experience in Information Technology, the last 5 being in the Oracle Appln (ERP) Implementation as a functional consultant and project Manager.

I would like to know under which assessing authority should I file for assessement, as a CA or as an IT professional? And what supporting documents will I need to give

Generally speaking, professional assessment is based on qualifications though I believe ACS has some experience requirements for IT classifications.

I;m not aware if that approach is taken for people having substantial IT experience after qualifying in another field which quite a few IT people may do but suggest you visit the ACS web site and if information there is not clear, why not email them for direct advice.
