incomplete name in visa grant notification

In the visa grant notification my name is not complete as it is
appearing in passport. This appears to be because of my lengthy name
which the computer field could not accommodate. one letter is missing.
Will it cause any problems at port of entry or
later in Australia?

Hi Ranga -

Probably not. At ports of entry and overseas checkpoints, it's your passport that is linked to your visa. The key is the passport number, etc. In Australia for future visas there are multiple ways they can look up your records, and I've seen situations where a name has been severely abbreviated due to space limitations yet they are able to make identification.

Best,

Mark Northam
