Subclass Visa Subclass 600

Hello!

I'm hoping someone can relate to my situation. I have applied for a Subclass 600 Visa on 11th November, they requested more information on 16th which I have sent on 17th November. I stupidly booked my flights and trips early in the year, I didn't realise It was so hard to obtain the visa.
My biggest problem is, I have some offence's on my record from when I was 15 years of age and am now 24 years but this has slowed the process down even more.

I am just asking if anyone else is in the same situation and some advice and experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

My fiancè and I are about to apply for a PMV, and he has some offenses on his record. Depending on the severity of them, we were advised to write a brief letter outlining the offense and the outcome.

I wish you the best of luck! Just hoping someone is in the same situation and have had visa granted!
Such a shame I didn't apply earlier in the year! I have submitted a personal statement of what happened and other supporting documents but was involved in a fight after school. :-(

Because it was when you were a teen, I personally wouldn't think it would be an issue, especially if you stayed out of trouble since.

Good luck, and let us know how you get on

The immigration department, for all its faults, warns applicants not to arrange travel or resign employment before visas are granted.

Presumably your police matters did not include offences involving children or possession of prohibited substances for sale, or 'terrorism', so if your sentences were not exemplary you stand a chance of being granted a visa - eventually.

You might want to ascertain whether you can defer your travel arrangements and might have made them in the first place, subject to visa approval.

I know this now as I have researched the situation daily with many sleepless nights

We spoke to a lawyer today and he said we shouldn't have a problem, so we'll file over the weekend

Going from what we were told, as long as you don't get a notice of intention to cancel on character grounds, you should be sweet.

Maybe Westly may be able to clarify that for me. That was my understanding, anyway.
