Partner visa application and question

Hi all

Im new to this so if anything wrong i apologise. Iv been here 10 months now and applying for my partner visa in 2 months time. I just wanted to know if anyones been through this process before with having debt back in the uk. Will it stop me from getting the application accepted?. Its only a couple of thousand pounds not alot

From my understanding is immigration does not look into your financial position in other countries.

When I did my onshore 820 visa I was never asked about any monies from South Africa.

Oh ok i was just wanting to make sure. Now that its nearly time to send it im getting nervous

DIAC does not do credit checks, etc as part of the visa application assessment process.
