I'm not aware of the details of your situation, but as a victim of domestic violence from a previous relationship, I highly suggest you get yourself and your children away from that person as soon as possible. There are resources to help you. Don't be afraid or hesitant to use them!

Nothing positive can come from a toxic relationship.

Hi Ozsponsor

I am sorry to hear about your situation and I hope you are okay and receiving the support you deserve.

I highly encourage you to contact the Women's Legal Service in your state. These services are free and most offer a telephone legal advice service if you don't want to go in in-person. They should be able to give you advice on all the ins and outs of your situation, including migration issues, DVOs and children's matters.

A directory of women's legal services is available at Women's Legal Services Australia: Women's Legal Services Australia

If you have difficulties contacting or getting an appointment with the Women's Legal Service, please email me.

Kind regards
