Post Hepatitis C and Skilled immigration 189

Hi

I am applying for the 190 Skilled immigration as engineer. I got Hepatitis C few years back and then got cured.

As for all treated person my test results are antiHCV positive and PCR negative.

if anyone have gone through or have information about this, plz do share it will really help

This will need to be addressed in your application. It is advisable to have an expert prepare a detailed submission addressing all of the Criteria in Public Interest Criterion 4005. This is a much better option than relying on the supernatural and hoping for the best.

thanks Jeremy

one clarity as the application is submitted before the medicals and even medical reports are sent directly by the authorized clinic, then how that will help.

The submission letter would inform the Case Office of an old medical condition, how it was treated and cured and why it is no longer a concern and will not cause any medical costs to the Australian health system- I expect it would refer to relevant sections of PAM3 and the maximum allowable medical $ limit.

Just my guess.

Mr. Usman, now that about one year has passed, can you inform me what happened to your visa application. i m also with the same problem as you were, willing to aply for Engineer visa 189
