Hi everyone,

After discussing everything with many of you on this site, I contact a lawyer specialising in migration issues. He has confirmed that the cost to be added on to my partners 457 visa is $1035. However, his fees are to be between $500 and $3000.

I just wondered if anyone who is or has been in a similar situation to myself, applied independently and only used a lawyer to certify the relevant documents? I don't want to spend money unnecessarily but don't want to take any risk with my application either.

Any info would be appreciated
