It is a requirement that a minimum of $5000 (more money the better chances) is in there account with a bank statement letter, they don't care about where the money comes from, its just one of the things they need.

We originally wanted to get a 1 year tourist but realized it would be almost impossible (she's from Indonesia) so instead we got a 3 month visa, then in future it would be a lot easier to pursue a 1 year visa/prospective marriage visa.

seems like visiting Oz is like mission impossible, do they follow my every step when i arrive to check if im up to my schedule? jesus

Yeah it does seen like that doesn't it? A lot of legit genuine people get denied as well. Sucks.

Did you sponsor your fiance or did she apply with only a letter of invitation from you? One would think if you are sponsoring them they wouldn't need as much funds.

Interesting thing is that Australia is one of the hardiest countries in the world to get a visa to.

Imagine how much money she will need to supply for a 12 month tourist visa!! Though I do agree coming from a high risk country she will have a really hard time trying to get a 12 month tourist visa.

Good day everyone! i'd submitted and apply my Tourist Visa Application Subclass 600 on April 26, 2013 (Friday), then i got received a text message from them that they're got received my application on April 29, 2013 (Monday), they said that the processing time was 10 working days to one month. I am getting anxious about the result, so it was turned one month on May 29, why there's no result yet coming from them? any one please give me some informations/details, it will be much appreciated of mine. Thanks in advanced.

Hello! I'd submitted the following:
- my photocopy of my passport
-my bank account statement
-my birtcertificate
-my nbi
-a approved letter from my employer for my LOA
-my grandparents photocopy of passports
-my grandparents photocopy of citizenships
-my grandparents photocopy of they're bank statements
-and a letter of invitation from them that they will sponsor me and fully support me on my entire stay on Australia for three months.

that's all, mmm is there any needed requirements that i missed to submit?

please help what should i do now, i am really getting anxious.. should i call them or mail them? my grandmother who was a Australian citizen called the Australian Embassy and they said that my application was on the process, wait until one month, but it was already passed one month, there's no result yet. please any advise. thanks you so much in advanced.
