Form 40SP question

Hi

Havent got far with the 40sp form and stuck at question 8. I don't know whether I am an Australian Citizen by grant or a Permanent Resident???

Here are my details:
Born in London to English Father and Australian Mother
Was brought to Australia when I was months old.
Have an Extract from Register of Births in Australia when I was 10 registering my birth under the Australian Citizenship Act.
Been back to England a few time but have resided here.
Am I citizen or permanent resident?

Thanks for any help

I would think that you are a permanent resident.
Someone with more knowledge may correct me.

There is a difference. For starters, a citizen has a passport and a resident does not. Voting is another. When you are granted your visa you'll not get an Aussie passport. Not until you want to be a citizen and go through the process to become one.

To answer the OP, could you ask your parents perhaps? I don't know, sorry.
