That makes sense to me. Our application was lodged on 10 May 2013 and a CO appointed on 21 May. We have been told not to submit medicals until after 10 August 2013. So we're that month or so behind you. It would be interesting if you could let us know what happens with your matter as we are in a similar position.

Does your Welsh fiance start raving about the Empire out of nowhere or is it just mine?????

Hi, J lodged the visa application in London on 10 May 2013, co assigned 21 May 2013 and he has been told to apply for his medicals after 10 August 2013. We're that month behind you. We have also been told there is a 8-9 month wait while the visa is processed but there is another thread on this forum where the Brit had his visa through in 6 months which is what I am really hoping for.

Hang in there but please let us know what happens with you guys. Being that month behind it would be interesting to see what happens.

Don't you just love them Welsh!!!!

Hi, just letting you know we received an email on 10th October (6 months after application) to say that our prospective marriage visa 300 is at the stage of completion, they are just waiting for my partner to leave Australia for it to be granted.

Do you tell how long you should leave for?

From what I have been told (through indirect channels) is that we should expect to hear that the visa will be finalised sometime early in December which, I hope means, that you should be hearing fairly shortly that yours is all set to go. I do have some people in immigration who I would never dream of asking favours from but I recently cracked and asked if they could check things out for me and that was the answer.

It looks like the London backlog could be clearing up, so fingers crossed for all of us.

Hi

I submitted my application (PMV300) on Tuesday this week and no money has been taken from my card, even though i have a delivery signature. Should I call to see if there is an issue as i read the money is usually taken straight away?
