Evidence of relationship

Hi all,
I am going to apply for Onshore Partner Visa. However, while I was dating my partner I had to go back overseas to finish off my bachelor degree. We were in daily contact for over more than 4 hrs a day in average and we have about 12 thousands messages on FB and 600 pages of skype conversation and calls. I have read that immigration doesnt want the transcript of all above mentioned. My question is HOW do you give them the evidence we stayed in touch and can they go through the content of our conversation as it contains some really personal information.
Thanks for your answers.

What you want to do is go through and strategically pull out messages that you think would particularly interest them. You want messages where you're talking about your future plans together, your commitment to each other, etc. Pick out the best of the best, and then give them, say, a message from each week you were apart (some might even say that would be too much and would suggest maybe a few from each month). They don't want anything of a sexual nature, by the way, so definitely don't include anything risque.

Hi CollegeGirl. We are scraping the bottom of the barrel for evidence and we were going to include a bank statement that shows we went to an adult store and bought personal items for each other. But your comment made me think they may not like that. We are just desperate for evidence. Maybe you know something I don't know.. Should we just skip that piece of evidence?

By the way, I am not asking for migration advice. I'm asking if maybe someone has had an experience, possibly a bad one, with something like this before. Thanks!

I couldn't give you official migration advice if I wanted to, lol. I'm not a migration agent!

I'm not sure. If you're really hard up for evidence... maybe? Your bank statement really details exactly what you bought, not just where you went?

DIAC has previously said they don't want photos with anything more than "light kissing," so I think what they want to know in the sexual arena is probably very little. lol.

Lol ok. Thanks so much. That info is helpful. I think I'm going to stay safe and skip it

Haha. Love it. With my application I colour coded all of our expenses on a bank statement like rent, groceries, etc and included a colour code for birth control which I buy with our joint account. I figured if they want to know everything they can hear about that too! I would go ahead and include the bank statement but maybe not an itemized receipt from the shop. And, I will admit I probably have a biased perspective on this type of stuff because I ran an adult store for four years before we moved to Aus.

I bought my fiance boxers with a, shall we say, playful saying on them. I was nervous about even including a receipt for that, lol! I did and figured my agent would take it out if it wasn't appropriate. Birth control is different though, IMO. You're showing that you're both contributing to health/family planning. I don't know, though. Who knows what DIAC thinks for sure.
