What did you supply and what did your sponsor supply? What I am mainly wondering from your sponsor did they provide a bank statement to show their funds, their payslips and also either a rental lease or rates notice (depending they rent or own house). Basically a letter saying that your sponsor will support you will not be enough DIAC needs evidence. Did your sponsors letter also include what you will do when you are in Australia.

Did you provide a HR letter from your work saying you have a job to return to?

Basically DIAC goes on evidence and the more you supply the better your chance gets.

DIAC told me last year that you need to show $1000 per month you are in Australia. So if that is correct you will need to show $1500 for 6 weeks.

Also I think is also depends on the case officer you get, some seem to be harder than others.

zaratino and wolf like this.

It took approx. 40days to decide.

Seems like, i wasn´t prepared good enough. I provided my bank account statement and my sponsor just own signed statement stating he´s gonna support me finacialy and accomodate me.
I can´t be sure, but i think i haven´t seen they need some proof from my sponsor. They could ask for it, if necessary.
Do you know when can i apply again?
Didn´t know i have to have 1000 per month...
And yes, i do believe i had bad luck with the agent that took my case.

thank you for reply
