New Delhi Processing Time - 309

hi there,

iam a australian citizen , got married on 14th feb 2013 in india and applied for my wifes 309/100 visa at AHC new delhi on 07march 2013, CO assigned on 20th april and medicals done on 25th april,
can anyone advise that how long will it take approximately for the visa to be granted??

Visa #1: PMV (300) through Washington, D.C
Applied: April 2013.
Visa Granted: January 2014.
Visa #2: Subclass 820 (From PMV).
Applied: End of April 2014.
Visa Granted: Early July 2014.
Visa #3: 801 (PR)
Eligibility Date: End of April 2016 (Applied a month prior).
PR Granted: Early April 2017.

How did you go with your application? Also did you have to show any evidence of relationship under the 4 aspect financial social nature etc?

Louie, EVERYONE applying for the 309 MUST provide evidence in all four categories. It's mandatory - not optional.

Hi college girl,

How do I do that when we both living in 2 different countries, we got married on 28/06/2014 now she's wants to apply for spouse visa? Which one is the best one to apply for originally was thinking of applying for PMV but since marriage date was close didn't go ahead with it but now opting for spouse visa.

The PMV would have been far better, but too late for that now. Typically you need to live together for at least a few months as spouses before applying to get the evidence you need - though there may be exceptions made under some circumstances. You may want to talk to a registered migration agent before applying.
